Mindanao Technology Summit
Green Valley embarks on another milestone for the year 2009. After the hugely successful Global Business Conference, GVCFI is now partnering with IBM, the world’s leading technology company, to bring to Region XII the 1st Mindanao Technology Summit.
The country manager of IBM for the Communications Sector, Mr. Reynaldo Lugtu, Jr., will be the keynote speaker for the summit. IBM is a strong supporter of academic initiatives that aim on introducing massive awareness of ICT trends.
The morning session will focus on two central topics: 1) Business Opportunities in ICT and 2) Career Opportunities in ICT. Meanwhile, in the afternoon session, technical session on ICT trends will be given by resource speakers from Microsoft and Lenovo.
Actively supported by the Commission on Higher Education, the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority, the Department Trade and Industry and the South Cotabato Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the summit will be a gathering for an estimated 2000 participants which will come from the academe, IT professionals, and businessmen from the different parts of Mindanao.
