From the SSG President by John Teker
I am the Student Council President, and I knew from the start that it is really a coveted position and one which warrant leadership, integrity and unqualified service for everybody. It also comprises great responsibilities and courage. Now that I am an ambassador of the students in Green Valley College, I shifted and I made myself more prepared from things that might take action as hindrances.
One semester had past under my administration, and it includes a lot of activities or shall we say major activities that the Supreme Student Council has organized, like our Acquaintance Party; in which we gained more friends and known each other, our College Week (Intramurals) dubbed as Sinadya 09 was one of the unforgettable and unique celebrations that we have. These are some of the activities that made my fellow students shared harmonious relationship to everyone, felt the real meaning of camaraderie, and made them foster their excellence who will soon be professionals.
To my fellow students, this school year is another venue-time for us to work and iron-out our objectives and functions favoring the renaissance of Green Valley College Foundation, Incorporated studentry. I know that you all have your concerns of being a student here in this school, just let us know the concerns and let us give explanation for it together, besides were in the same common; a student. Meeting those warranties may not be initiated nor be consummated without the principles of unity and healthy activism of everyone. It is an erratum to say that I and my co-officers are the only compositions of GVCFI studentry. All of us have our slice of importance and responsibility to live with.
To the student officers, I know you have your own story of sacrifices as I do. All of those are given up in the name of service and in the name of our college. Let us continue unity and service-orientation. Let us build studentry stronger than ever by doing good things that may form in each of us the true essence of being a student and a leader.
Thus, if we want change and development, let us be one…one strong and concrete studentry of our school, the Green Valley College Foundation, Incorporated.
